Hi, I’m steve núñez.
I’m a revolutionary thinker, abolitionist storyteller, and visual artist from Wilmington, North Carolina.
Despite being a military-trained weapons expert and academically-trained theologian, existential philosopher, and decolonial theorist — photography is my dominant mode of thought and expression.
Through a penchant for vivid color and fascination with intimate texture, spanning genres — from macro, to landscape, astro, aerial, portrait, and long exposure photography — I present photographic image as spiritual metaphor and invitation into my personal practice of photography as an introspective and contemplative meditation practice about the infinite, the infinitesimal, and our impermanent position in between.
